I volunteered in hospitality at the HealthSouth training center Monday-Thursday, and even though it was absolutely *freezing* in there, it was fun, because I met a lot of cool people, including skaters and coaches. I had to laugh the first night I was there, because they had soup, sandwiches, fruit, and dessert in the volunteers' lounge, but only corn chips, Cracker Jacks, and brownies in the skaters' lounge, LOL! Things improved the rest of the week. :)

I also liked volunteering because I got to wear a credential all week, which made me feel very important, LOL! Probably because of the credential, I got asked a lot early in the week if I was a skater and/or when I was competing. Someone even thought I was a coach!
